Represented by the Model Club in New England, and Prestigious Models in NYC and LA, Ting is an actor, writer, and producer in New York (and Boston). When he is not busy rehearsing, he enjoys writing screenplays, coding for Data Analytics, and producing shorts and videos.
Born in Hong Kong during the reign of Her Majesty, but Ting may have lost his chance to be knighted since 1997. He immigrated to the United States when he was 13 and spent his high school years in New York City. Ting then received his BS and MS of Electrical Engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY, where he also pursued a minor in Economics and Theatre. Always been fascinated by performing arts and in love with the idea of connecting people through art, he found a passion for acting during his second year in college while participating in a school production. He has since been involved in numerous theatrical productions on and off-campus while in Rochester. His latest theatrical credits include Thisbe in Midsummer Night’s Dream with Rochester Shakespeare Players and Thuy in Miss Saigon with Encore Theatre Production at Stadium Theater in Woonsocket, RI. He has since made a shift from theatre to film and has been involved in a number of student films since. Ting also acquired a ScreenWriting Certificate from Emerson College in Boston and worked in various positions behind the scenes with local productions. Often likes to say he has the heart of a creative and a mind of an analyst, Ting understands the world in terms of numbers and enjoys translating them to tell an emotional tale.
